Solution Planner helps businesses plan complex operations visually. The project redesigned this B2B web app to simplify planning workflows, improve decision-making, and scale operations efficiently.

Scope of Work
Research
Competitive analysis + user interviews revealed fragmented workflows, poor mobile support, no real-time updates. Key needs: visual boards, drag-drop scheduling, multi-user sync.
Stakeholder Insights
Conducted stakeholder interviews with key roles such as the Product Owner, Business Analyst, Functional Lead, and Technical Manager to gain insights and identify potential gaps in the product. Prepared questionnaires, documented answers, and obtained valuable feedback that shaped the project's direction and enhanced the user experience.
Redesign
We kicked off the Solution Planner redesign, taking it one step at a time. I specifically focused on the notifications + section, crafting various designs for triggered notifications. Afterwards, our team of designers voted on the options, and we collectively settled on one final design. This approach allowed us to refine and enhance the notification experience for our users.
User Interview
We conducted user interviews with a few users of the product. Before the interview, I created a questionnaire for the users. During the interview, we asked them questions and performed AB testing using the screens that we had designed earlier. As part of this task, I also documented the user interview questions.
AAA Standard Design system
New design system built to AAA standards for Accenture. Created scalable Figma components (buttons, colours, fonts) with mode variants. Flexible foundation meeting user, business, and technical needs.
Color
12-tone palette engineered for AAA compliance, dark/light mode variants.
Typography
Semantic type scale with AAA contrast ratios across all weights and sizes.
Other Components
Scalable Figma library: buttons, forms, cards — all WCAG AAA accessible.
Adaption
We overcame challenges and adapted all screens to the new design system, working closely with developers and testers to ensure functionality and a smooth user experience. This comprehensive process culminated in a successful transition to the enhanced Project Composer.
Results
Streamlined Project Composer with AAA-compliant redesign. Fixed complex interface and poor usability with new features for Solution Architects. New design system + smooth handover ensured project success.
